Buenos Aires, February 12 (NA) -- Paraguayan midfielder Óscar Romero was presented as a new signing for Huracán, despite his past spell at San Lorenzo. According to the Argentine News Agency (NA), the 33-year-old midfielder joins on a free transfer with a one-year contract, following an unsuccessful stint at Internacional of Porto Alegre, Brazil. Thus, the midfielder, twin brother of forward Ángel, will be experiencing his fourth stint in Argentine football, having previously played for Racing and Boca, in addition to the aforementioned 'Cyclone'. In a significant reinforcement for Argentine football, midfielder Óscar Romero is now a new signing for Diego Martínez's Huracán. As reported, the 33-year-old player comes as a free agent from Internacional and signs a one-season contract with the 'Globe'. His surprising signing comes after a brief but notable spell in Brazilian football, from which he became free at the beginning of the year, remaining clubless for a month and a half. Having arrived at Inter in February of last year, the Paraguayan barely managed 30 minutes across the eight matches his team played in the Copa Libertadores, while he played 17 times in the Brasileirão, with just five starts and no goals.
